History
In 1953 Albert Ellert together with his wife Charlotte founded the Jewellers Ellert at the Alserbachstraße, with the most simple means and highly personal commitment. Gerhard Ellert, today's Jewellers Ellert's senior boss, took over the company in 1966. Supported by his wife Li he opened the stores Donauzentrum, SCS and Stephansplatz in the late 70ies.
At the turn of the millenium the third generation took over and established in 2004, in combination with the overall reconstruction of the hotel at the Stephansplatz, not only a new layout of the store but also a significant enlargement.
More than half of a century has passed since the company's foundation. The conditions have changed, our highly personal commitment has remained the same.
